Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Counsel to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing litigation affecting the credit union and its subsidiaries, reviewing and negotiating contracts, and providing legal advice to various business units.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage litigation pending or in progress and provide pertinent research and legal advice as requested.
  • Work with outside counsel to assist in their provision of legal advice, guidance, and analysis to management.
  • Prepare required legal documents, filings, and notices to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct research and analysis of legal and/or regulatory compliance inquiries and issues generated by management or staff.
  • Making appearances on behalf of the credit union at legal proceedings, hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, or settlement conferences.
