Senior Consultant Business Applications

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant Business Applications to join our Unified Support organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support to our customers, ensuring their IFS solutions meet their business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide in-depth technical resolutions to complex issues, while advising customers on the optimal usage of IFS's products.
  2. Deliver regular, proactive updates on resolution progress and provide exceptional customer service.
  3. Identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and deepen relationships.
  4. Stay up-to-date on the latest product developments and their alignment with industry standards and policies.
  5. Understand the industry-specific characteristics of the customer's solution.
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of IFS support processes.
  7. Establish internal and external networks and serve as a reference point in the product area.
  8. Recognize competency and knowledge gaps among team members and facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions.
  9. Make informed decisions independently and be accountable for them.
  10. Engage with the IFS community and contribute to functional forums.

Requirements

Overall Required Competence:

  1. Basic level: Knowledge of IFS's products technical architecture, SQL querying, and understanding of IFS's product interfaces.
  2. Intermediate level: Conflict resolution, business communication, and functional knowledge on related product areas.
  3. Advanced level: Understanding of IFS support scope definitions, analytical skills, and engagement with customers.

Required Education Experience:

  1. University degree, equivalent professional qualifications, or relevant work experience.
  2. Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
  3. Experience in relevant industry(s) and handling customers.
  4. Basic understanding of business value engineering.
  5. Previous knowledge of ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle ERP).
  6. High-level knowledge of Database technologies (Oracle).
  7. Exposure to public Cloud platform, specifically Microsoft Azure.

Desirable:

  1. Fluency in other languages.
  2. Technical experience on Azure, Oracle DB, Kubernetes, network, Cloud security.
