Job Title: Senior Backend Developer

The vente-privee group has consolidated its various European brands under one unified conglomerate: Veepee. With a 3.7 billion Euro turnover as of 2018, Veepee is taking a leading role in the European digital commerce landscape.

Job Description

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will join the Brandsplace Team within Connected Commerce Tribe. Our mission is to build and display a Brandsplace sales platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new and redesign existing features of our products
  • Suggest interfaces and other possible improvements
  • Keep the code clean and review team members' designs
  • Ensure the reliability and scalability of developed applications
  • Respect production deadlines
  • Review legacy code to avoid production bugs
  • Write technical documentation
  • Handle technical interviews with other developers
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a backend developer
  • Good expertise with C# and.Net Core
  • Comfortable in asynchronous environments
  • SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
  • Git and CI/CD, APIs or other web services
  • Experience with Kafka
  • Familiar with cloud programming tools
  • Assure the quality of your code with unit and integration tests
  • Result and product-oriented
  • Fluent in English
