R Developer - Data Visualization Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled R Developer with expertise in data visualization to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating dynamic visualizations with ggplot2, plotly, and leaflet, and manipulating and processing data using tools like dplyr and tidyr.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create dynamic visualizations with ggplot2, plotly, and leaflet.
  • Develop interactive web applications using R Shiny.
  • Process and manipulate data using tools like dplyr and tidyr.
  • Integrate databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite) through packages like DBI.
  • Optimize performance and scaling applications on shinyapps.io, RStudio Connect, or local servers.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of R for statistical analysis, data manipulation (e.g., dplyr, tidyr), machine learning, and custom algorithms.
  • Experience with Shiny Framework, including designing fully interactive web applications and using Shiny UI elements.
  • Proficiency in web development fundamentals, including use of extensions like Shiny UI themes or Shiny Dashboard for polished interfaces.
  • Strong database skills, including working knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite and ability to connect applications to back-end databases via R packages like DBI and RSQLite.
