As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our e-commerce business. You will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and ensure timely delivery of products.
The key to success in this role is a strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management. You will also need to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage performance to meet quality, cost, and delivery standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing supply chain strategies aligned with company goals
- Managing domestic and international shipping and logistics, including warehousing, transportation, and customs clearance
- Overseeing inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment to avoid stockouts and excess inventory
- Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to align inventory with demand
- Identifying and implementing process improvements in supply chain operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the e-commerce industry. Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and vendor relations, is essential. Proficiency in using ERP systems and supply chain management software is also required.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are necessary to thrive in this fast-paced environment. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as strong communication and negotiation skills, are also essential.
