Spain Chief Development Officer F/H: A Strategic Leadership Role

Energy Pool, a pioneering company in the energy transition, is seeking a seasoned Chief Development Officer to drive its growth in Spain. As a key player in the energy sector, the company provides innovative services and software solutions for optimizing distributed energy resources.

With a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence, our teams work tirelessly to meet the needs of our customers and create new energy models. We are now looking for a local, permanent Chief Development Officer to spearhead our expansion in Spain.

The ideal candidate will develop a portfolio of prospects and customers based on Energy Pool’s existing offers in Europe, define new energy management offers adapted to the Spanish market, and monitor regulatory developments in the sector. They will also be responsible for lobbying the regulator CNMC and the transmission operator REE, as well as exploring local strategic partnerships to accelerate growth.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering or business, with a significant financial culture and at least 10 years of experience in a management role within a fast-growing SME/ETI. They will be bilingual in Spanish, with a professional level of English and French, and have a strong understanding of the energy sector and its stakeholders.
