Job Summary:

The M&P (Margin and Profitability) Specialist is responsible for leading labor management initiatives at Abbott Laboratories' manufacturing site. This role involves driving continuous improvement across the site by influencing skills and methodologies to optimize labor utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement labor rotation studies and continuous improvement plans to optimize labor efficiency.
  • Monitor labor hours, labor cost, and overtime to ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
  • Lead labor optimization projects to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leader Team to develop business relationships that promote the efficient utilization of resources to achieve site objectives.
  • Provide regular reports to the Senior Leader Team on labor metrics and optimization initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Employment Law, Employee Relations, or Business Administration, or more than 5 years of experience in labor management.
  • Deep knowledge of labor regulations and laws.
  • Outstanding skills and experience in Change Management, Problem Solving Tools, and Project Management.
  • Excellent communication and planning skills, with the ability to influence others and drive results.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and Advanced Excel.
