Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Specialist Data to join our Group Data & AI Office. As part of BASF's Data & AI Powerhouse, you will drive data management and contribute to convenient, efficient, and compliant data usage within BASF. Your responsibilities will include setting up a Data & AI Governance Framework, developing governance documentation, collaborating with teams, monitoring regulatory changes, and implementing data roles and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Centre and Divisional Data teams.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update governance practices accordingly.
  • Implement data roles and responsibilities in business units.
  • Work with data role owners to ensure effective implementation of governance practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or a related field.
  • Practical experience in developing AI governance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to AI and data.
