Job Overview

Nutanix is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Durham, NC. This role requires a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of achieving goals through leadership and motivation.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of sales experience and 3+ years of management experience. They will be responsible for building, managing, coaching, and driving a team of high-caliber inside sales professionals focused on new logo business (hunters). The successful candidate will set expectations, provide clarity, and KPIs for the Inside Sales team to achieve and work closely with Nutanix Field Sales to design a "Divide & Conquer" new logo sales account approach.

Your Responsibilities
  • Build, manage, coach, and drive a team of high-caliber inside sales professionals focused on new logo business (hunters)
  • Set expectations, provide clarity, and KPIs for the Inside Sales team to achieve
  • Work closely with Nutanix Field Sales to design a "Divide & Conquer" new logo sales account approach
  • Motivate, coach, and manage Inside Sales professionals to build pipeline and close revenue through Nutanix Channel & OEM Partners
  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts and track sales activity leveraging SFDC
  • Join customer calls with the Inside Sales team to coach and assist in closing bookings
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of sales experience and 3+ years of management experience
  • Experience in enterprise sales required, Storage/Networking/Virtualization/Cloud or Infrastructure industries strongly preferred
  • Proven consistent achievement of goals through the leadership and motivation of an Inside sales team
  • Exceptional command of enterprise sales methodologies and the ability to coach to it
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build cross-functional relationships
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

The Inside Sales team is a fully hybrid team. You will spend time working from our new Barcelona office and from home, you will feel connected to the team with our weekly meetings, 1-1s, and daily Slack chats.
