About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Engineer to join our Customer Journey team at Back Market. As a key member of our mobile engineering squad, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality iOS code that sets the standard for quality and maintainability, making our app scalable and accelerating product iterations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently deliver iOS code that meets the highest standards of quality and maintainability.
  • Elevate the app user experience by collaborating with Product Managers and Product Designers, and implementing quick-wins UI animations, transitions, accessibility, and Design System components.
  • Effectively contribute to technical initiatives to reach the iOS engineering and product vision, accountable for large team project features, including ones with external dependencies.
  • Design and implement robust and efficient code patterns, ensuring Swift concurrency, thread safety, and race conditions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS technologies, including UIKit, SwiftUI, property wrappers, result builders, and functional programming.
  • Build and scale our app architecture, advocating for multi-modules and dependency injection, and understanding and applying SOLID principles.
  • Guarantee the iOS app performance on the features developed, with strong monitoring practices, including logs and metrics to measure UI and Core performance.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in iOS development, with a focus on quality and maintainability.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement robust and efficient code patterns.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS technologies and trends.
  • Experience with Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI is a plus.
