Job Summary

We seek a seasoned hardware engineer with 5 or more years of experience working as a hardware designer, specializing in Power Electronics. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge about switching between AC and DC, BLDC motor control, electrical AC transition motors, discrete components, sensors, battery management systems, and converters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality HW components to meet calculations and requirements
  • Perform HW simulations using Matlab/Simulink and Spice to validate designs
  • Create schematic and PCB layout designs while adhering to EMC rules
  • Collaborate with the eCAD group to ensure design consistency and quality
  • Deliver technical documentation, including internal releases and customer deliverables

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Electronic Engineering or Telecommunication
  • Proven experience in Battery Management System (BMS) design, HV contactor systems, and lab equipment usage
  • Proficiency in electronic simulation tools, such as Matlab/Simulink and PSPICE
  • Familiarity with automotive communication buses (CAN, LIN, K-LINE, SENT)
  • Knowledge of electronics manufacturing and testing processes (IPC-610A, IPC-2221A)

Desirable Skills:

  • Power Supply Design experience for LV PSU (Push-pull, Flyback, Sepic...)
  • Automotive experience and ISO26262 knowledge
  • V design experience according to ISO SPICE standard
