Regional Logistics Expert with Nuclear Medicine Experience

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Logistics Lead to oversee the end-to-end logistics process for RLT products in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational logistic management and experience working with radioactive drugs or similar time-critical operations.
Job Description: As Regional Logistics Lead, you will be responsible for managing customs and trade compliance risks, ensuring a smooth importation process for each shipment and avoiding unnecessary violations with relevant government authorities. You will also develop relationships with leadership contacts at carrier organizations to retain and grow their logistics services while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

- Develop processes and manage projects in a cross-functional manner related to the improvement of logistics operations;
- Maintain close collaboration with the global RLT control tower and applicable manufacturing sites to develop processes for the timely monitoring of RLT products;
- Proactively monitor and capture related regulatory updates, verify positive/negative impact on Novartis business, report management if impact is significant, and come up with proposal if needed;
- Implement regular audits on transportation companies, provide training and support to both Novartis staff and third-party employees, and ensure all Novartis RLT products are transported in compliance with local regulations.
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in Nuclear Medicine, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in an operational logistic management role with radioactive drugs or similar time-critical operations. Knowledge of local Customs & Environmental Protection Bureau and Health authority requirements for radioactive drug importation and supervision is essential. Fluency in English is required, with Spanish or Portuguese being an asset.
