We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our Locations Platform organization at TomTom. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing our Android and iOS Navigation SDK.
Key Responsibilities- Software Architecture and Design: Own the software architecture and technical designs for our Navigation SDK, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Full-Stack Development: Develop and maintain complex software systems, utilizing modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, driving engineering, test, and operational excellence best practices.
- Collaboration and Communication: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Applied Science and Product stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of our Navigation SDK.
- Mentorship and Growth: Mentor new team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the organization.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
- Technical Expertise: Expertise in full-stack development, system architecture, and technical feasibility trade-offs.
- Communication and Collaboration: Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Experience in solving complex problems, learning new technologies, and adapting to changing requirements.
