Merchandising Specialist

Job Summary:

Eggcelsior Poultry Farms Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales and customer service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and upkeep of our store, including all company-owned items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient sales processes.
• Develop and execute merchandising strategies to maximize sales and customer engagement.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with cash handling and reporting responsibilities, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote and communicate ongoing store promotions to customers.
• Identify opportunities for market penetration and develop strategies to increase sales and customer acquisition.
• Perform other functions as may be required on a temporary basis.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with a day shift schedule.
• 13th month salary and overtime pay provided.
