Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join our Reserving team. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will play a critical role in preparing and performing actuarial analyses, including loss and premium projections, and providing consultation on actuarial models and risk issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Actuarial Analysis: Prepare and perform actuarial analyses, including loss and premium projections, and provide consultation on actuarial models and risk issues.
- Reporting and Planning: Participate in CUP and Planning exercises, providing baseline calculations and other insights.
- Reserving and Portfolio Management: Support reserving, portfolio profitability management, reinsurance, and market-facing business units in complex environments and lines of business.
- Technical Expertise: Provide consultation and technical expertise on actuarial models and risk issues.
- Claims Provisioning: Ensure that the claims provisioning processes are appropriately governed in accordance with Group, Regional, and Local regulatory policies.
- Research and Development: Research best actuarial practices and review/analyze current practices to support senior management in developing and improving processes and systems.
- Data Management: Manage the flow and quality of relevant actuarial data to ensure robust output.
Requirements
- Actuarial Experience: 3-4 years of experience in non-life reserves and fluency in English.
- Technical Skills: Advanced user of Office, SAS, Python, and ResQ.
- Soft Skills: Proactive attitude, enthusiastic learner, team-builder, and goal-oriented.
- Time Management: Used to dealing with deadlines.
