Job Summary

New York University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Associate Director, NYU Madrid. This position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of NYU Madrid, ensuring an orderly, secure, and inclusive environment for the NYU Madrid community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise all day-to-day operations of NYU Madrid, including finance, human resources, IT, and facilities management.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategic plans for NYU Madrid, in collaboration with the Site Director and Global Programs Office.
  • Represent NYU Madrid management in negotiations with local authorities and professionals, and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the financial operations of NYU Madrid, including budget planning, financial reporting, and auditing.
  • Collaborate with NYU's Insurance Office to ensure appropriate assessments and insurance coverage.
  • Develop and maintain a space planning strategy, including classroom assignments and residential needs.
  • Supervise the provision of employee benefits and oversee the facilities maintenance program.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
