The International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE) is a research organization that aims to develop numerical methods and computational techniques for advancing knowledge and technology in engineering and applied sciences.
We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal and Grant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and writing proposals where scientific and technical knowledge in topics related to mobility, cities, territory, and adaptation to climate change is needed.
The Proposal and Grant Manager will also be responsible for identifying new funding opportunities for our research groups, assisting academic leaders in the development of new research proposals, and collaborating with the Project and Preaward Managers to plan a strong pipeline of proposals and funding opportunities.
Required Skills:
- Doctorate in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
- Previous experience in research project proposal writing
- Previous experience coordinating research proposals in European and Spanish projects
- Fluent in Spanish and English, Catalan is a plus
Qualification System:
The requisites and merits will be evaluated with a maximum note of 100 points. The maximal note will be obtained by summing up the following points:
- Academic qualifications: 20%
- Professional Experience: 30%
- Knowledge of Spanish/Catalan: 10%
- Knowledge of English: 15%
- Screening tests and interviews: 25%
