We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at Canonical, a leading international software company. As a key member of our Identity Management team, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering cutting-edge identity and access management solutions for our enterprise products and web services.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our distributed team to develop and implement new features and enhancements for our identity management solutions.
- Design and write clean web service APIs to support both CLI and web frontend clients, using Python and Golang.
- Review and improve code produced by other engineers, ensuring high-quality and secure coding practices.
- Work closely with our team to drive adoption of best-of-breed IAM technologies and modernize our identity stack.
- Deliver exceptional products that meet the needs of our users, maintaining a culture of quality and engineering excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related field.
- Proven experience in building identity and access management products, with a strong understanding of open source software, standards, protocols, and concepts in the identity space.
- Experience implementing authorization frameworks in distributed systems, with a focus on secure coding and standards.
- Strong experience working in an agile development environment, with a passion for technology and collaboration.
- Comfortable working with Ubuntu as a development and deployment platform.
