Kafka Technical Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Kafka Technical Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the technical direction of our clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • You will design and implement technical solutions, working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on architecture and approach.
  • You will create and integrate technical architectures that incorporate Kafka-based solutions, ensuring seamless integration with external systems.
  • You will improve the performance and efficiency of final solutions, identifying areas for enhancement and collaborating with clients to implement changes.
  • You will coordinate with client-side technical teams to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
  • You will serve as a subject-matter expert, providing high-level guidance on event-oriented platforms (Kafka, Elastic, etc.) to teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • You will pursue ongoing learning and share knowledge within communities of practice focused on design principles, architecture, and software development.

Your Essential Qualifications:

  • You must have experience as a technical consultant with expertise in software architecture.
  • You should have a proven track record in designing event-oriented platforms based on Kafka.
  • You should be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You should be proactive, open-minded, and passionate about open source technologies, new innovations, and agile methodologies.
  • You should have strong organizational skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • You should be proficient in English and Spanish languages.
  • Bonus qualifications: experience with Java, Spring, Elastic, Confluent Stack, Docker, AWS, GCP, Azure, or Kubernetes; training experience for technical teams is an asset.
  • You should be willing to relocate to Spain or work from our offices in Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, or Gijón.
