Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and optimizing the spectroscopic equipment in the LaserLab
- Proposing upgrades to improve performance and reduce acquisition times
- Sourcing materials for lab use and coordinating with the Mechanical Workshop for equipment design and fabrication
- Collaborating with the Maintenance team on climatization system issues
To excel in this role, you should have a degree in Chemistry or Physics and expertise in ultrafast spectroscopic techniques, such as transient absorption and fluorescence, two-dimensional electronic spectroscopy. Proficiency in Matlab, Python, and LabView programming languages is also required.
A competitive salary according to the Institute's scales is offered, along with annual payments split into 12 monthly installments. This full-time employment contract is linked to the TED2021-132747A-I00 project and ends on 30/09/2025. The position offers flexible working hours and a work-life balance policy.
