Cybersecurity Network Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Network Protection Engineer with a focus on VPN technologies (including Site-to-Site and User VPN) to enhance our global operations. The successful candidate will take charge of designing, executing, and overseeing the organization's VPN framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and manage a secure network framework, emphasizing Cisco and F5 security solutions, such as Cisco ASA, Firepower, and F5 APM for secure access and authentication.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within AXA Group Operations Network Global Product Security and Network Service Product Line to ensure that network security solutions meet business goals and adhere to industry standards.
- Produce High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and operational guidelines for network security solutions, facilitating knowledge transfer and the development of level 2 support capabilities within a global team context.
- Perform risk evaluations and security assessments to pinpoint vulnerabilities and implement necessary measures tailored to Cisco and F5 technologies.
- Oversee network performance and security, resolve issues, and provide prompt solutions related to Cisco and F5 deployments.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation regarding network security architecture and procedures, focusing on Cisco and F5 technologies.
- Leverage development skills for data automation, controls, and monitoring to improve network security and operational efficiency.
Candidate Profile:
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures, with a strong emphasis on Cisco and F5 security solutions, including Cisco ASA, Firepower, and F5 APM.
- Profound understanding of network security principles, protocols, and standards, particularly in relation to Cisco and F5 technologies.
- Expertise in network and security tools specific to Cisco and F5, such as firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and access control solutions.
- Familiarity with DNS and F5 Global Traffic Manager (GTM) is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Palo Alto Networks security solutions is a plus.
- Understanding of Cloud technologies, cloud proxies, and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) is preferred.
- Experience with Cisco ISE for network access control and posture is desirable.
- Development skills for data automation, controls, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Proficient in English for effective communication in a global team setting.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, F5-CTS, or equivalent are advantageous.
