About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team at Festo Automation S.A.U. in l'Hospitalet de Llobregat, ES.

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend side of our eCommerce web platform, supporting our online catalog and processing customer transactions in over 55 countries worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining REST APIs with Java and Spring
  • Creating automated software tests and documentation
  • Coordinating and aligning requirements with product owners and stakeholders
  • Supporting and collaborating with a distributed agile team
Requirements
  • Degree in information technology or similar
  • 3+ years of related professional experience
  • Practical experience coding monolithic backend and REST APIs with Java and Spring
  • Ability to work in an international and diverse team with good communication skills
  • Independent and structured way of working with holistic thinking
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Spanish, German, and Lithuanian language skills are valued but not required
