Job Description:

This job opportunity is with ABB, an inclusive employer and a member of Mygwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community.

The successful candidate will report to the Area Sales Manager and be responsible for the sales of the ABB brand and the Niessen brand in their complete portfolio, including DIN rail, breakers, automatisms, and enclosures to house all the protections.

For Niessen, the role will cover all series, video intercoms, home automation applications such as and knx, within the South Area, located in Granada.

The work model for this role is hybrid, with the successful candidate being mainly accountable for:

  • Working with the marketing department and others to develop purchase plans and offers, ensuring their technical and financial accuracy
  • Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities
  • Putting knowledge of ABB's customer needs and solutions to find effective solutions for customers
  • Monitoring customer and market trends in collaboration with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and talented team, where they will be able to thrive.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5 years of sales experience
  • Solid knowledge of electrical engineering focused on serving installers, distributors, and specifiers and the electrical material market within the industrial and tertiary residential sector
  • Knowledge of the office suite and ability in all digital environments
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage customer relationships
  • Cooperative and solution-focused attitude, with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Preference in the selection of profiles with Engineering or Higher Level Training Cycle, both with a specialty in electricity
