Job Summary: As a Supplier Development Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the development of a control stick supplier during the prototype phase through to serial launch. Your role will focus on ensuring that the supplier meets all required deliverables and adheres to the DO-178C standard for software systems validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage supplier performance for control stick development.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements.
- Verify compliance with DO-178C standards for software systems validation.
- Review and validate mechanical components (metal and plastic) and software for functionality and conformity.
- Facilitate communication between the supplier and the final customer to keep the project on track.
Requirements:
- Languages: Spanish is mandatory.
- Proficiency in English or German is preferred.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in aerospace development processes, qualifications, and RD standards.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with DO-178C standards is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in software systems, product and process machining, plastic injection molding, and assembly.
- Key Competencies: Strong understanding of aerospace project development. Ability to manage and drive supplier performance. Proficiency in both technical and communication skills.
