We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Researcher to join our Digital Social Technologies department at Fundació i2CAT. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Fourth Helix model and its dynamics, as well as experience in analyzing, developing, and implementing human-centered technologies and innovations.
The successful candidate will work on the European project FORGING, which aims to harness the transformative potential of emerging technologies and embed value-sensitive considerations throughout the innovation journey. This includes understanding the principles of value-sensitive innovation and the ability to embed considerations of environmental and societal impacts throughout the innovation journey.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Understanding the Fourth Helix Model and its dynamics
- Cultural intelligence and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Expertise in digital, green, and social transitions
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work on specific tasks related to social and environmental impact assessment, monitoring and evaluation of progress and performance, promoting technology acceptance and uptake by industry, and co-definition of research and market needs.
