Job Summary

As a Sales Account Manager at Adidas, you will be responsible for driving profitable and sustainable market share growth within assigned Strategic Accounts and categories. You will represent the assigned account internally as an ambassador towards all functions and vice versa, managing all areas in scope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and purpose account strategies, formalize them by Strategic Account Plans, and get sign-off by the direct superior.
  • Sell-in and agree on sell-out support, formalizing this by Wholesale Activation Plans.
  • Monitor sell-out and the order book continuously, ensuring reliable and cost-efficient supply for the account.
  • Support negotiation and enforcement of adidas Group trade terms.
  • Work closely cross-department to ensure strategy pillars are achieved in all channels/platforms (Retail, DPC, Marketing).
  • Push the digital channels of the assigned Strategic Account through continuous advice on brand positioning and strategic plans that seek the success of our brand in the e-commerce of our customers.
  • Drive specific sell-ins and range extensions for online.
  • Ensure best in class merchandising actions focused on products visualization, rankings visibility.

Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills, very good communications and negotiating abilities, high presentation, relationship management, and facilitation skills.
  • High influence capability.
  • High analytical skills for strategy development and business planning.
  • Commercial and business acumen knowledge (e.g. sales, trade marketing, finance, and controlling).
  • Knowledge of the universe Digital Commerce: Experience working with digital metrics & a history of leveraging these to increase sales performance.
  • Experience with online search (e.g. SEA/SEO, On-Site search etc.) and basic understanding of e-Commerce search mechanisms.
  • Strong decision taking and determination, shows high initiative and pragmatism to the business.
  • Proactive mentality with curiosity and desire to learn.
  • Dynamic, motivating, and entrepreneurial-minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and deadlines.
  • Fluent Spanish and English.
  • IT skills: Advanced MS Office Skills. SAP knowledge is an added plus.

Education and Experience
  • University degree in business with sales or marketing focus.
  • Manager: Minimum 5 years of sales experience as Key Account Manager with proven track record of successfully managing Key Accounts in large sales organizations, ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or Consumer Goods.
