About the Role

Enerpac Tool Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Bolting Products Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, leading, and coordinating projects in the world of Mechanics and Hydraulics, with a focus on custom and sustaining special Bolting products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Development: In coordination with the Chief Engineer and Leaders of the Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electric-Software departments, develop processes to ensure delivery of the project according to planning and company standards.
  2. Quotation and Order Process: Organize and execute the quotation and order process, which includes design, calculation, drawings, and sketches to develop the dummy, final concept drawings, manufacturing drawings, bill of materials, revision drawings, DFMEA, and ECN.
  3. Technical Documentation: Prepare technical documents for manufacturers, operations, or laboratories. Once the project ends, update documents and drawings as built, providing RPS and Instruction Sheets as required.
  4. Supplier Management: Require quotations from suppliers to make cost estimations prior to handing over to the supply chain, if required.
  5. Team Collaboration: When the project involves multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with those team members for a good share and transfer of information.
  6. Customer Solutions: Develop the most appropriate technical solution to answer customer expectations, based on the specification provided by the sales department. Organize customer meetings to clarify needs, if necessary.
  7. Production Support: Support the Production Department during assembling, testing, and compliance testing, and the Sales Department for on-site tests.
  8. Manufacturing Drawings: Prepare all manufacturing drawings, BOM, and global Enerpac engineering process (ECO, Winchil, etc.) for all projects assigned.
  9. Project Meetings: Carry out regular meetings, together with the NPD and custom staff, to identify deviations from plans and provide corrective actions.
  10. Testing Procedures: Design and evaluate testing procedures in accordance with standards and regulations required in the scope of the project.
  11. NPD Product Development: Collaborate in the development of NPD products. Ensure all HSSEQ rules and regulations are communicated and enforced throughout the Organization. Proactively participate in safety awareness and improvement.
  12. Professional Representation: Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, both internally and externally. Follow the published processes and comply with all company policies and procedures. Be an ambassador for the business, ensuring that Health & Safety comes first at all times.
Required Capabilities

The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineer degree, with a demonstrated experience in the design of cylinders, bolt tensioners, mechanical systems, sealing processes, tribology, hydraulics components, or high-pressure hydraulic applications. Computer skills of AutoCAD, FEA (Ansys, Mechanical, Catia), CREO & CREO SIMULATE, or Solidworks are required. Fluency in English speaking and writing is essential. The candidate must have demonstrated creative ability to find technical solutions to the mechanical and hydraulic area and in accordance with other involved fields.
