Vodafone Group is launching its new technological HUB, an international center of excellence dedicated to research and development of technical solutions, such as Secure Networks, 5G and 6G development, Open RAN, IoT, MPN & MEC, and UCC for Vodafone Business, platforms, and enterprise solutions.

Our purpose in Home, Technology & Products, HT&P, is to design and implement Vodafone Consumer products in fixed and mobile devices, like messaging, call services, securing home and mobile networks, and providing the same user experience across all devices regardless of the network or place.

Your Role

The Software Engineer is responsible for creating software for platform and product components throughout the development, testing, and go-live phase. This includes functional and technical analysis and specification, understanding of platform-specific architecture and integration for all platforms in scope.

Accountable for quality, reliability, and performance of assigned platforms and components, the Software Engineer needs both analytical and hands-on engineering and IT skills. The Software Engineer is to keep abreast of current technology developments within the role scope, including handsets, operating systems, business applications, middleware, networks, and cloud environments.

What You Bring
  • 2-4+ Years of experience in Software Development
  • Strong experience with Golang (Go), AWS/GCP, Terraform/Terragrunt
  • Containerized development and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge and experience of working in agile Teams (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Proven experience of unit & integration testing frameworks
  • Experience with web service technologies (REST, JSON, XML)
