We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Tech Support Specialist. This role involves managing incident reports, researching and resolving customer issues, and working closely with customers to provide technical support.
Key Responsibilities- Handle incoming reports and requests in our ticket system
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve issues
- Locate, create, and manage workarounds
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in system admin or similar
- AWS Cloud knowledge: S3, RDS, LB, Security group, etc.
- Advanced usage skills of Linux and/or other Unix-based operating systems
- Knowledge of server administration, shell scripting, and configuration in large server environments
- Knowledge of networking, including load balancing, firewalls, VPN, port mapping, TDP/UDP and HTTPS
- Experience with Java, XML, XSLT and basic development tools
- Familiarity with GIT, web server (Apache) and some database (Oracle) knowledge
- Understanding of agile software development principles
