About the Opportunity

Outlier is seeking talented individuals to contribute their expertise in mathematical modeling to train generative artificial intelligence models. This freelance opportunity offers flexible hours and remote work, allowing you to choose your schedule.

Your Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating the accuracy and relevance of domain-specific text generated by AI models
  • Crafting and answering questions related to mathematics
  • Ranking domain-specific responses produced by AI models

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics or a related field
  • Experience working as a mathematical professional
  • The ability to communicate complex mathematical concepts clearly in fluent English and Spanish

Compensation

We offer competitive pay rates for core project work, ranging from $30 to $50 USD per hour, depending on your expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors. Certain projects may also offer incentive payments. Please review the payment terms for each project.

Important Notes

This is a 1099 contract opportunity on the Outlier platform. As a freelancer, you must be authorized to work in your country of residence. If you are an international student, you may be able to sign up for Outlier if you are on a visa. You should consult your tax and/or immigration advisor with specific questions regarding your circumstances.
