This is an exciting opportunity to join Amazon's Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team as a Senior Workplace Health and Safety Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving improvements in workplace health and safety across our sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of health and safety professionals to ensure compliance with local legislation and Amazon's health and safety policies.
- Conduct regular site visits to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement health and safety training programs for employees.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance workplace safety.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on health and safety matters.

Requirements
- Education to a degree level and qualification in Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (including specialisations in Seguridad en el Trabajo, Higiene Industrial y Ergonomía & Psicosociología aplicada) following Spanish Health and Safety regulations.
- Relevant experience managing a team and complying with local Health and Safety legislation.
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and the local language.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean, 5S and Kaizen methodologies.
- Qualifications or experience in the field of sustainability.
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership.
