This role involves working closely with innovation teams to integrate Ubuntu stacks and solutions, and ensuring partner success through business growth and market share increase.

The ideal candidate will have experience in alliance or indirect sales management, and a deep understanding of the Linux and cloud software ecosystem. They will be able to negotiate contracts and commercial business terms, and lead partnerships with global accounts such as IBM, Samsung, and DellEMC.

This is a leadership role that requires autonomy, discipline, and a hands-on approach. The successful candidate will be passionate about Ubuntu products and mission, and comfortable in fast-paced and high-pressure environments with measurable goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strategic relationships with IHV partners at all levels
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial business terms
  • Lead partnerships with global accounts such as IBM, Samsung, and DellEMC
  • Work closely with marketing, sales engineering, and product management
  • Deliver on targets and objectives and provide a voice of the partner
  • Lead executive interlocks between IHV and Canonical leadership
