We are seeking a highly skilled Development Engineer to join our team at AVL Iberica. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge mobility technology in the fields of functional safety, automotive cybersecurity, and automated driving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement functional safety-related work products, including risk assessments, concept creation, and safety analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with standard specifications and industry regulations.
- Contribute to the development of innovative mobility solutions, leveraging expertise in control engineering and model-based development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in functional safety, automotive cybersecurity, and automated driving.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, vehicle technology, physics, computer science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in control engineering and model-based development, with expertise in tools such as Matlab/Simulink and SySML.
- Familiarity with development processes in the automotive sector and functional safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508) or cybersecurity standards (ISO 21434).
- Excellent communication and team-working skills, with proficiency in English and Spanish. German is a plus.
