Job Description
Lead Electronic Manufacturing Quality Assurance Activities
We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist to lead activities related to Materials and Processes Quality Assurance in support of the Project Product Assurance Manager, Engineering, and Operations teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the Project Product Assurance Manager in reviewing customer deliverables, including Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Equipment Qualification Status Review (EQSR), and Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR) documentation;
- Participate in Materials and Process Control Board (MPCB) meetings to provide status of conformance (SoC) for materials and processes requirements and request for approval (RFA);
- Provide technical justifications for Material Input Plans (MIP) activities;
- Validate qualification plans initiated by the Technology team and follow the progress of qualification;
- Contribute to PCB layout design reviews at the interface with the Packaging Engineering team; and
- Validate product drawings and Declared Materials List submitted by the Packaging Engineering team.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering with proven knowledge in the Electronic Manufacturing sector, desirable in Space environment;
- Knowledge on Materials validations;
- Knowledge on Processes implementation and control;
- Knowledge of ECSS and/or IPC standards;
- Knowledge of Quality Certification Systems such as EN9100;
- English and Spanish language skills at negotiation level;
- Experience in Material validation and Processes Control for 3 to 5 years;
- Experience in Quality Department for at least 1 year; and
- Desirable 3 to 5 years of experience.
