Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology roadmap outlining the evolution of our technology landscape.
- Provide architectural guidance and oversight for individual changes to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Define and enforce technology standards and best practices, promoting consistency and interoperability.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and align architectural solutions.
- Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
- Establish and enforce governance processes to ensure compliance with architectural standards and policies.
- Promote architectural awareness and understanding across the tech organization through training and educational initiatives.
- Act as a sparring partner to engineering colleagues on all levels to develop a living culture of architectural excellence.
Requirements:
- Several years (minimum of 8 years or more) in Retail Industry and especially in Omnichannel architecture.
- SAP retail knowledge is preferred.
- Profound knowledge and expertise in enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in designing complex and scalable solutions, considering current and future needs.
- Capability to define and enforce technology standards and best practices for consistency and efficiency.
- Ability to establish and enforce governance processes to ensure compliance with architectural standards.
- Experience in Omni-Channel platform implementations.
- Strong knowledge on API concepts & patterns (REST based).
- Experience (preferred) in working with Global International teams.
- Very good command of English language (both Verbal and Written) and German language skill is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
