About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Controller to join our client's team in Madrid. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing daily cash flow, preparing cash forecasts, and conducting risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Cash Flow: Oversee the company's cash flow, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
- Prepare Cash Forecasts: Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify and mitigate financial risks, advising on investment strategies to maximise returns.
- Coordinate with International Departments: Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless finance-related operations.
- Perform Treasury Transactions: Execute treasury operations, including cash management and financial reporting.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to financial regulations and standards, ensuring the company's financial integrity.
- Support Budgeting and Financial Planning: Contribute to the development of financial plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor Market Trends: Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for growth and maximise earnings.
- Participate in Policy Development: Collaborate in the creation of financial policies and procedures, ensuring best practices are implemented.
- Requirements
- Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in treasury management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP SAP (an advantage).
- Experience: Previous experience in Controlling roles, with a strong background in finance and accounting.
- Language: Fluent level of English and Polish (other East European languages may be an asset).
