As a Digital Infrastructure Director, you will join our global Technology team in a fast-paced and challenging environment with plenty of opportunities to influence growth in the technology area. Your primary responsibility will be to build and lead a Delivery Engineering team to automate and enhance existing processes, enabling teams to reduce delivery time, ensure stability, and scale services. You will work closely with the Technology team to ensure technical solutions are aligned with the business needs, ensuring consistent monitoring, logging, and alerting.

You will lead a team of engineers to ensure professional growth, well-being, and job efficiency. You will guide the Delivery Engineering team, motivating them to drive technical expertise, acting as a subject matter expert, and championing best practices. Additionally, you will provide technical oversight for important projects, ensuring high-quality technical outputs involving multiple teams and technologies. You will also ensure that team members participate in every step of the software development lifecycle, from product design to testing, transition, and operation.

You will provide coaching and mentoring to improve the skillset and knowledge set of the team, aiming to benchmark quality precision engineering. You will oversee the implementation of service transition and change release processes, ensuring that processes are reviewed and improved with an emphasis on optimisation. Furthermore, you will evaluate risks and defects, analysing specifications and customising applications to meet specific customer needs.

You will work closely with Technology teams to produce and maintain standards, guidelines, pattern catalogues, and measure delivery quality improvements by capturing analysis metrics. You will also drive the development of innovative prototypes and lead technology teams to develop quality solutions for automation.

Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum

The estimated salary range for this position is based on industry standards and market rates. It takes into account factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
