We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Course. As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating cybersecurity threats to our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement customized threat profiles to identify the latest adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Configure and place Automated attack simulation infrastructure with internal stakeholders to simulate cyber attacks and identify vulnerabilities.
- Establish and execute cyber exercises to reduce risk and improve cybersecurity posture.
- Overcome delivery challenges by collaborating with internal stakeholders to prioritize and remediate high-risk cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
- Develop a roadmap of prioritized remediation activities to address potential gaps and improve cybersecurity posture.
- Analyze and update procedures and processes to identify and implement process improvements.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in the information security field to ensure our organization remains ahead of emerging threats.
- Bachelor's Degree in an information technology-related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of security systems engineering and troubleshooting experience with a focus on cybersecurity.
- Understanding of cyber-based threat techniques and procedures to compare industry-related events, exposures, and incidents.
- Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework and/or other cybersecurity threat-based frameworks used to track adversaries and associated TTPs.
- Familiarity with key security events on common IT platforms and experience collaborating with security technical experts and leaders to drive risk reduction.
- General networking, host, and security-based troubleshooting skills, including firewalls, routing, NAT, etc.
- Preferred qualifications include experience working with breach and attack simulation (BAS) solutions, red/purple teaming experience, and security certifications (CISSP, CISM, OSCP, Security +, etc.).
