We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Applications Engineer to join our team at Berghof Membranes. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in piloting new applications and assisting with the startup of new filtration systems in international projects.
Key Responsibilities- Pilot Test Management
- Define the goals and steps of pilot tests in detail with our customers to achieve the desired targets
- Assist our customers with the startup and commissioning of ultrafiltration plants
- Guide our customers through the entire process and ensure all relevant data is acquired
- Analyze the results of pilot tests and convert the data into relevant information for the design of full-scale projects
- Quotation Support
- Assist our sales engineering team in defining quotations and discussing process-related documentation during the quotation phase, such as P&IDs and PFDs
- Liaison and Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between international Sales Managers and the Technology department
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Water Technology, or a similar field
- Five years of experience in similar functions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch and German are a plus)
- Proactive team player comfortable balancing commercial and technological arguments
- Problem-solving attitude to overcome challenges on the fly
