About the Role

As a Senior Financial Crime Audit Leader at American Express, you will play a critical role in leading our Internal Audit Group's (IAG) efforts to provide data-driven and technology-enabled assurance. You will be responsible for providing global leadership in IAG and American Express, supporting the Global Head of Financial Crime audit in a senior role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide global leadership in IAG and American Express, driving the development and implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Support the Global Head of Financial Crime audit in leading the Financial Crime audit team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the delivery of timely risk insights that are business-aware and forward-looking.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and audit teams.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial crime audit or a related field.
  • Professional certifications, such as CISA or CIA, are highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
