We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Construction Project Engineer to join our team at AWS Infrastructure Services. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our data center projects.
Your primary focus will be on establishing communication and coordination across data center regions, general contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams. This includes sending out region-wide changes of construction processes, providing location access to documents, and developing tracking systems for construction/design changes, RFI's, work/change orders, build durations, and critical priorities.
You will also be responsible for requesting and reviewing work activity MOPs (Methods of Procedure) for proper detail, necessity, and risk, and developing out same with the project team. Additionally, you will be responsible for onboarding new project vendors for security badging and onboarding orientation, updating project management software with milestone dates, correspondence, and documents, and monitoring delivery of owner-furnished material to site.
Key Responsibilities:
