Customer Services Procurement Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Services Procurement Support professional to join Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe, Madrid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to securing the availability of critical assemblies and materials for a national Spanish program.
- Manage a diverse and international supplier base, finding solutions in a highly dynamic environment.
- Self-sustainably manage this focus area and own the relationship with internal customers & suppliers.
- Contribute to the sourcing activity, manage the tendering and the contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance with Company requirements.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with suppliers and run projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership & risks.
- Contribute to Multifunctional/Multidivisional teams all along the tendering, contracting, and contract life cycle phases.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or a related discipline.
- Negotiation-level communication skills in English and Spanish are required.
- Experience in customer services procurement.
- Rigorous, autonomous, customer-oriented mindset and ability to prioritize workload.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication, multi-functional team-working, flexibility, proactive behavior.
