About the Role

We are seeking a talented Level Designer to join our team at Socialpoint, a world-renowned mobile games studio based in Barcelona. As a Level Designer, you will be responsible for designing new levels for our live puzzle game, tweaking difficulty and rebalancing existing levels based on data results, and participating in new game mechanism ideation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design new levels for our live puzzle game, ensuring a high level of quality and engagement for our audience.
  • Tweak difficulty and rebalance existing levels based on data results to continuously improve levels and provide the best experience for our players.
  • Participate in new game mechanism ideation and contribute with new ideas for the game, collaborating with developers, designers, and artists in a collaborative environment.
  • Be mentored by a Senior Designer who will support your growth and development as a Level Designer.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, and artists to ensure seamless integration of new levels and game mechanics.
Requirements
  • Possess a passion for creating mobile games for a wide range of audiences and genres.
  • Have a deep understanding of puzzle games and be able to create engaging and challenging levels.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Have a strong focus and organization, able to take problems one by one and deliver high-quality results.
  • Have relevant education in Video game development, with involvement in Game Jams or indie projects being a plus.
  • Have excellent written and verbal English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
