Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Electrical Systems package, ensuring timely completion and high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Electrical project manager and the Mercury Safety Advisor to establish and maintain site safety protocols, including setup, management, and closing out of the safety file.
  • Drive a focused Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental culture within your team, promoting a culture of excellence and responsibility.
  • Work closely with the Mercury QA Manager to manage Site QA, including setup, management, and close-out of files.
  • Collaborate with the Mercury Project Manager, consulting Engineer, and Client requirements to manage Project Schedules and ensure timely completion.
  • Oversee all costs associated with your package, including electrical team sub-contractors, material deliveries, and plant equipment variations.
  • Ensure effective management of day-to-day site operations, adhering to Mercury policies and procedures.
  • Monitor sub-contractor activities, tracking progress against schedules and manpower levels, and conduct weekly meetings with sub-contractors.
  • Manage the Mercury 'In Progress' snagging system, ensuring supervisors return weekly punch lists where applicable, and distribute snags to all Sub-contractors.
  • Coordinate direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours with the time administrator for centralized tracking.
  • Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
  • Close out all project items, including Final Account, O&M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant relocations, and Project Plan, with support from the site project manager and project team.
  • Issue internal weekly progress reports, rolled up from project supervisor reports.


Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is €90,000 - €110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This compensation package reflects the company's commitment to recognizing and rewarding exceptional talent.
