Job Title: Lead Game Engineer for Klang Games

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Game Engineer to join our team at Klang Games. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving the technical vision and execution for our ambitious MMO project.

Key Responsibilities:

* Mentor and manage a team of engineers, fostering their technical and professional growth
* Lead the design and development of major game systems, written in C# and built on a foundation of distributed systems and ECS architecture
* Develop and oversee the technical strategy of your team, balancing effort with impact and evaluating technological solutions to align with project and business goals
* Collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines, including production, product, game design, UI/UX design, and art

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a technical leadership role, with a track record of mentoring and managing engineering teams
* 7+ years of professional programming experience with C# or C++
* Proven ability to lead project planning sessions, set realistic timelines, and balance technical debt with feature development
* Deep understanding of both client- and server-side aspects of modern game engines and familiarity with ECS architecture
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate and optimize complex systems
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on stakeholder management
