About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Processing credit card payments and updating customer payment card details as needed
- Following up on declined credit card payments with customers
- Monitoring and reporting on customer outstanding invoices and unallocated payments
- Working closely with the International Account Management team to review past due accounts and schedule regular meetings
- Compiling and submitting overdue account details to the collection agency
- Reviewing collection fees payable and ensuring they have been appropriately charged
- Monitoring and responding to legal documents for customer bankruptcy declarations
- Processing account write-offs as needed
- Calculating monthly commissions for the Sales team
- Producing credit memo reports
- Ensuring cancellation and credit memos are correctly actioned
- Creating proforma invoices for new customers
- Assisting with the onboarding of new processes and systems
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Experience reviewing and advising on past due accounts for payment options and debt recovery
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships
- High level of professionalism and ability to thrive in a team environment
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is advantageous but not essential
