We offer a competitive salary for this postdoctoral position, which will be determined based on experience and qualifications. According to industry standards, a suitable estimate for this position would be around €45,000 per annum, taking into account the Spanish cost of living and the company's policy of rewarding experienced professionals.
**Job Description**
We are seeking an exceptional electrochemistry expert to join our CO2 Mitigation Accelerated by Photons group. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on developing efficient catalysts, electrodes, and systems for converting captured CO2 into value-added chemicals. This project has significant potential for impact and we are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to lead the charge.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To be considered for this position, candidates must hold an internationally-recognized Ph.D.-equivalent degree (or evidence of its completion in the nearest future) preferably in Electrochemistry, Materials science, Chemical engineering, and/or Chemistry. Strong background in electrochemistry and chemical engineering is essential, as well as experience in CO2 electrolysis and electrode fabrication and membrane integration. Excellent analytical chemistry skills are also required for product quantification.
