About this role: We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Advisor to join our global Tax Department in Barcelona. As a Corporate Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax advice and support on various headquarters business projects to other functional areas within the Group.


Key responsibilities:



  • Direct taxation
  • Provide tax advice and support on various HQ business projects to other functional areas within the Group
  • Manage daily tax affairs in all the countries where the Group has its presence, with a strong international market focus
  • Prepare and/or review CIT provisions and the tax section of the Annual Accounts of both the national and the international subsidiaries
  • Give support on the tax compliance process of all our international foreign subsidiaries working closely with our Administration department and external Big 4 service providers
  • Dealing with local tax advisors when their support and/or advice is required
  • Coordinate income tax audits, working closely with tax advisors
  • Leadership with tax planning, tax risk and providing tax strategy for the Group
  • Analyse and evaluate strategic and operational decisions versus corporate and tax regulations for all Desigual entities
  • Improving and implementing global processes across the organization to ensure tax obligations are met
  • Reacting efficiently to global legislative changes and creating systems and processes to ensure compliance

  • You have experience in direct and indirect taxation, tax planning and advisory
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • You are able to travel frequently
