Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef Supervisor to join our team at Marriott Vacations Worldwide. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of cooks and kitchen workers, ensuring the highest quality food is prepared and presented to our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and kitchen workers to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
  • Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays to impress our guests.
  • Ensure proper portion control, arrangement, and food garnish to meet our high standards.
  • Monitor stock levels of kitchen supplies and food to identify needed items and ensure neat and orderly storage.
  • Communicate with Food & Beverage service staff to inform them of menu specials and out-of-stock items.
  • Prepare special meals or substitute items to satisfy guest requests.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Proven track record of excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
