We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to lead our inventory and logistics operations in the Spanish and Portuguese markets. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless flow and delivery of goods to our Iberian warehouses and external customers.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee inventory planning, replenishment, and delivery services to ensure exceptional service levels.
- Coordinate inventory demand planning and logistics for the Spanish and Portuguese markets, aligning with sales targets and growth plans.
- Lead the effective planning, coordination, and execution of inventory demand planning and logistics to achieve functional metrics, Iberian sales targets, and growth plans.
- Work closely with our headquarters to support and improve the EMEIA supply chain strategy.
- Feed and support the Iberian region strategic plans and elaborate a proper strategic plan for the supply chain in Spain and Portugal.
- Execute transactions in the ERP system to fulfill supply plans, maintain database accuracy, and coordinate import activities.
- Partner with sales and supply planning teams to ensure accurate forecasts, minimize excess inventory, and align on sales and operations planning.
- Guide 3PL operations, coordinate manufacturing activities, monitor order fulfillment, manage stock metrics, and assist in policy development.
- Manage logistics in Portugal, propose efficiency measures, and monitor delivery timelines.
- Oversee warehouse operations, reconcile inventories, manage inventory movement, provide performance data, and recommend continuous improvements.
- Maintain ERP systems, develop tools for efficiency and data integrity, coordinate system upgrades, and promote digital development projects.
- Communicate with internal and external customers to address needs and resolve issues, contributing to customer retention and corporate goals.
- Lead the internal Iberian logistic team and the external distribution centers and warehouse personnel.
- Investigate and resolve post-delivery logistics issues, analyze customer proposals, and support the commercial team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a closely related field.
- Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is highly desirable and will be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
- +5 years of experience performing a similar role within a multinational company.
- Demonstrated experience in Supply Chain Planning, Purchasing, Demand Forecasting, Supply Chain Analysis, Operations Analysis, and/or Inventory Management.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in supply chain and logistics management, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and supply chain analytics platforms.
- Experience working in process improvement/optimization for logistics, warehousing, and transportation operations.
